First let me say I know it is a bit early to know 100% but the older my first 2 Easter Egger chicks get the more I think the dark one I named Hazel may be a Hank. These 2 chicks are around 9 or 10 weeks. I got them at my local Orschlen's.
Seems 'Hazel' is getting a more and more bright red and pronounced comb than it's hatchmate Gladys. Second it seems to strut more up right. It has a bit more of an in your face attitude and protective of it's hatchmate. It's feathers seem a little more pointy than curved like it's hatchmate and my old hen. It's tail feathers seem to be a little longer and starting to bend over like most roosters I have seen....along with getting some very iridescently shiny tail feathers when the light is just right. And it seems to be quite a bit larger in over all size than Gladys.
Below are some pictures of Hazel(dark chick) and Gladys(cream & grey chick).......what do you all think? Is it a Hazel or a Hank? As they get old enough to truly know I will let ya all know. If it is a Hank I will be rehoming as I do not want nor need a rooster.
