He CROWED! Sorta. . .

While cleaning up in the horse barn I heard the dying cat sound. Ran to the chickens and saw my favorite cockerel striking the pose. I have 22 cockerels and only one (maybe 2) is going to be kept everyone else becomes dinner. This guy is so much redder than any of the others. I really hope once the hormones truly get going he isn't a jerk, right now he's quite fun. He was 5 weeks old yesterday.

He is handsome, and that certainly is the rooster pose. I have some nice roosters, hopefully he will be a well behaved one, too.
