My Chinese Crested Hairless Dog looks like a mange case if I let any hair start to show as he has almost none but just enough to be gross. Thank goodness for my AHT who is naturally nude so I just wash her once or twice a day (the breed takes it just fine) instead of getting the miserable looks I get from the other one as I shave his nether regions

I tried everything from Veet to Epilator but in the end, he & I are most comfortable with shaving. He just stands there shaking miserably. I stopped shaving him for a 2 months cause I feel like such a cow for doing it but started again this week after even the vet begged me to do him a favor & take it off. Now I just use an electric shaver to take most of it off & only shave properly for shows (cut them down to 3-4 times a year). The joys of hairless dogs. I'm so grateful for my Ellah's true nudity cause two of them would make me hang myself with dental floss
