I have two more runs...problem is, they aren't covered. The bantam boy knows how to fly...when I couldn't find him the other night (the only day I let him free range), he was up in a tree. So I can't put him in either run...and they are too big to cover :(
 
In my experience, some chickens just never really fit in, but after only one week, it's still very early for him to be settling in. It's really far more exceptional that Kokopelli took to his role as flock roo so quickly!

At 18 weeks old, he's still a youn'un. He's still figuring himself out, sort of like an awkward teenager suddenly being plunged into a room full of buxom babes. I wouldn't worry too much about his social needs being met--if he needs socialization that badly, he'll seek it out. :)
