He or She?

This is my newest mix hatched from a light brown egg and the roo is a Silkie. Is currently 10 weeks old and looks a hen to me but my other half disagrees because of how tall and proud it stands. Either way by far my cutest chick yet.

The last is the Roo, and in the second pic there is a Cochin and an Exchequer Leghorn that are the same age.

Currently looks like a pullet, but pointy saddles will barely be starting to develop. Couldn't see the comb at all though to get clues from there.

I don't see any defining cockerel traits as of yet.

Please wait two weeks or so, then look for pointy saddle feathers, which would indicate a male.
