If its' an EE, and no tail feathers, I vote he, based on white and lack of tail feathers. All mine with any white in them were roos.

She (hopefully) is seven weeks old. She has tail feathers. I guess this isn't a great shot. Also, (s)he's more of a silver or gray colore with a little brown. Not really white. There is a second ee that came in this rainbow layer assortment that is buff colored and somewhat smaller. I'm hoping that you all vote "hen" with this new information. Thanks.

Thanks everyone. I'm new to the chicken thing. I ordered 24 rainbow layer assortment from McMurrays and got 27. As far as I could tell there were 2 ee's and I was hoping they were hens. The rest are red and black sex links, brown and white leghorns, black australorps, two turkens and a RI.

Looked to me like it is starting to get in some pointed saddle feathers...I am going with roo.

It does seem to spar with some of the other chickens in the cage. It's larger than the one other ee and australorps but smaller than the sex links.
