Head chicken starting to become stand offish

My blue andalusian is now 4 months and is "leader' of the rest. The other four are as friendly as a chick can be. She/he was practically cuddly when a peep, but now very stand offish and eyes me the whole time I am cleaning pens, or anything near the coop. I get the feeling this is a rooster, but not enough evidence of it yet. Is it normal for them to unfriend their owner?

This is my first batch of chickens this spring, but I had the same experience. Two of my most friendly, outgoing supposedly 'pullets' turned out to be roosters. They would climb all over me as little chicks and then all of a sudden wanted nothing to do with me...then they crowed...

Well, that makes me feel a little better. We shall see if I get roostered.
