One of our dogs let the birds out and my most skittish bird escaped into someone else's yard. I got her back after a lot of trouble and exploring three backyards but she hurt her head. I don't know how, but it's stopped bleeding and this was the best picture I could get, what should I do? I haven't delt with a head injury like this, does she need a cone? Is banixx for child pecking sores, bumble foot, leg injuries, and skin irritation okay or do I need something else? I have her separated and inside because it's really hot out and she has water and food and I'm terrified I'm doing this wrong.

Just put some antibiotic cream on it. be sure to use the cream WITHOUT PAIN RELIEF, because pain relieving cream has too much medication and can make them sick.

Thank you so much, I wasn't sure. She's really skittish and wants nothing to do with me so handling her stresses her out and I want to get it right the first time so she doesn't somehow hurt herself more. She one of my hens that is just terrified of everything and I wanna make this as stress free as possible
