head twitching chick

i have 3 chicks at i week of age one of my chicks started having head twitches 3 days ago is there any reason for this

my son did say she got its foot stuck in a hole and was hanging up side down for a few seconds weather thsi has anything to do with it . they are been hand raised inside under a lamp, when it is trying to go to sleep it is really bad it is i think a light sussex cross

any help would be great
no other signs of been sick etc

Is its head just twitching or is it like scratching the side of its head/eye with its foot, does it fall over at all or look like its going to after it twitches?

I have 2 cochins I just bought that sort of twitch there head to the side. Do chickens get ear mites? What do I treat them with?...

...my silkie does this sometimes too...it does look like something is making her itch, but she doesn't do it enough to make me think it's mites.

also, she likes to lie down on the ground with her feet stretched out or even up in the air. she will just sort of roll over and look paralysed for a bit. she almost looks like she's really sick or dying when she does it

but eventually she will get up and start walking around normally

does anyone know what's going on?

i'm completely new to chickens, so don't laugh if this is something they do all the time!
