Healing dog attack wound - ingrowing feathers??

It was awhile ago one of my pullets was attack by dog/s, she has been healing really well but I noticed this on the side of her tail. It kinda looks like a hole and the feathers keep growing in there?? Hard to explain Pictures attached, it's hard to show in the pictures but there's quite a few feathers in there.

Do you see a feather in every shaft? Or do some of the shafts look like unopened spikes?
