I picked a tick off of one of my meat birds today. From what
I have read it seems as if birds can contract the disease as well. I am wondering what i can use to treat or boost my chickens immune to ensure they remain healthy before slaughter. I have treated my own lyme with antibiotics but have switched to herbal remedies to prevent and treat old and new infections. Any advice? Anyone have chickens that have suffered from lyme?
I am a little nervous because the chicken with the tick and one other separated from he flock and were dripping water from their beaks after they drank this morning. They both ate this morning but were not as piggy as usual.
