Healthy 5+ Months Female Coturnix Mysteriously Died

Today I went out to feed my Coturnix Quails and I found my Jumbo Coturnix female dead inside the cage. The only thing I could think of is I recently changed the feed to 28% protein because there are some young Coturnix Quail. I don't see any punctures or wounds on this dead bird. What could be the cause? Thanks.

That could be possible.... also where I live has been over 100 degrees ...
