Healthy Chicken Weights?

I decided to weigh everyone out of curiosity ( huge pain in the ass lol ) and wanted to see if they are at a good/healthy weight for their breed & ages. Now, I only had a bathroom scale available so it might not be 100% accurate. I subtracted my weight with the weight of me holding them haha

28 weeks & 5 days

• Burt - 10lbs - Barred Rock/RIR mix rooster
• Rex - 9.6lbs Cuckoo Maran mix rooster
• Nelly - 4.4lbs BR hen
• Milly - 7.2lbs ISA Brown hen
• Tilly - 9.8 Black Sex-link ( supposed to be a Black Australorp ) hen
• Yukon - 8.2 black australorp hen
• Miss Prissy - 8.2 black australorp mix hen
• Poe - 8.3 black australorp mix rooster
• Reeses - 6.8 ISA Brown hen
• Henrietta - 7 ISA Brown hen
• Henny Penny - 5.6 ISA Brown hen
• Copper - 6 ISA Brown hen
• Charlie - 8.2 black australorp rooster
• Atlas - 7.4 BR rooster

21-22 weeks

• Daria - 4.6lbs ameraucana pullet
• Maude - 5.2lbs ameraucana cockerel

17 weeks

• Athena - 4.2lbs leghorn pullet
• Mimzy - 4.6lbs leghorn pullet
• Pip - 5lbs leghorn pullet
• Winnett - 2.4lbs leghorn pullet

yeah, that’s what I was wondering about. She got into the nesting box after I weighed her, so I ended up getting the egg too but an egg isn’t very heavy. i’ll weigh her again later to see if it changed much

hmm, i don’t think she’s overweight. i didn’t get to re-weigh her today, but she’s always been a big chicken even when they were little

i think she’s just big, yeah. like i said, she’s always been pretty big even when they were younger. honestly, i thought she was a boy at first because she was so big as a baby lol. I’d really like to know what she’s mixed with because she’s definitely not just a black australorp

Perhaps shes a black Jersey giant or a black copper maran

She's a black sex link, which is a mix of barred rock and rhode island red. You can tell by the red feathers on the throat from the rhode island red.

Most BSLs are, but some might be mixed with new hampshire red instead of rhode island red. Mother is always are barred rock. Both parent breeds are large, so BSLs can get pretty big.
