When my chickens rest and relax their wattles turn from bright red to pale pink. Is this normal? It doesn't happen to all my girls. Thanks!

Nope, as far as I know, that is normal. When chickens (or any animal) relax, their heart slows, slightly decreasing the blood flow to the other parts of the body. I assume that this causes the color loss--it happens in my chickens, too.

This happens to my chickens too. When my birds are really relaxed and comfortable, their wattles and comb get really pale. They act perfectly healthy otherwise (they've been wormed and have no mites, too), so I can only assume that it is normal. Your birds are probably fine.
