I have 8 healthy girls that, unfortunately I need to find a new home for. Four each of Rhode Island Reds and LIght Bramahs. They do not free range, but they have a protected 30x40 foot pen they spend their days in. Great egg layers...I get 5-8 each day, and they were all strong layers during the winter.

These girls are 1 year old, hatched March 2020.

I am located in Franklin, MA, and am hoping to find my girls a new home as soon as possible. Please contact me with any questions.

:welcome Beautiful birds in great condition - hope that you can find them a home. Try posting in the Mass and other NE state threads. Good luck.

I was looking to buy 6 Red pullets, so your 4 + 4 would be almost perfect. But we won't be ready for them for 2 more weeks. We're not far, in Rehoboth. If that timeline will work let me know.

Good Morning! Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. Are you still interested in my girls? The timeline you spoke about works for me. Ideally, I would like to find a home for them by the end of April. Does that work for you?

End of April is good, really anytime from about the 23rd on. That gives us time to clean up the old coop and make sure the hardware clothe is in good shape.

We have a big dog carrier we can use to move them so that shouldn't be a problem.

One question: do they get along well with each other?

Thanks, my daughters are excited!

Mark

They do get along! I'll write up something about them to give you...just my experience with them and thoughts. This is not easy for me to give them up...and I may get more next year, but I have a lot going on. So happy your daughters are excited! Would you like to see them/visit in the next few days? We should take this offline (personal email) to share info and possibly coordinate that!

Lauren
