Curious if anyone has used this long term is it all it claims or just a fancy deodorizer? The customer reviews only mention how great it smells.

I know lemongrass and geranium essential oils have bug repellent claims (I actually have these they are pretty readily available and cheap) i could mix these in a spray bottle with water and spray coop. DE I know about that but this mixes it in liquid I thought DE wasn’t effective if wet. I don’t know what the other ingredients are for.
Active Ingredients: Lemongrass 1.5%, Geranium Oil 1.5%, Potassium Sorbate .01% by weight. Inert Ingredients: Water, Yeast, Citric Acid, D.E. (diatomaceous Earth) 96.9%. All ingredients meet EPA requirements as a minimum risk pesticide under the 25(b) FIFRA.

Snake Oil, IMO.
Why do you think you need it?
If you have odor and/or pest issues in your coop and/or run best to nip the source in the bud instead of trying to 'band-aid' them.
Nope don’t need it. It was something I ran across on the internet and was curious because it doesn’t make since to me. I use sweet stall in the winter to help with moisture, Odor isn’t really a problem as I do a dry compost type litter with yard waste, lots of ventilation and scrape up any droppings daily, then permethrin for the creepy crawlers if I see them, which I did on the logs that are in there.

I been looking for at Odor Control my self I don't think it's that bad ( definitely not as bad as most coops I seen) but I live in Florida luckily not in the city limits but the country people still keep a close watch on things so I do all I can to keep the smell down as much I can. Dont want to be the stinky house next store. I clean out the bedding each month. Got one mobile coop I move every few days and change out the hay in my other chicken runer ones a month. I live in Florida so the heat makes coop a must.
