Second thread in one day! Goodness!

I should have asked this question long ago, I think, and monitored my own ducklings weights better as they grew-
But I'm not certain on breed, so I'm not certain on how much they should weigh ideally. I've been going mainly by how they feel and look for that reason.

But they should in theory be Aylesbury mixes, what with, I have guessed pekin-but do not know for sure.

So based on those breeds, I have read that pekin adult hens should weigh around 8lbs, and that aylesbury hens can weigh 9lb-

So keeping that in mind, how much should 14 week old female pekins weigh?

I will emphasize these girls are NOT for meat, and never will be- they are much loved pets, and I am just figuring out the best amount of food to feed them to keep them healthy- I certainly don't want them to become too heavy for their legs!!

my (jumbo pekin) drake weighs 12.5 pounds, and i know someone who has a 12 pound jumbo pekin hen too

technically if they are jumbo pekin they can get up to 14 pounds, so my boy is on a diet so that he doesn’t gain anymore weight
