I am at day 20 and I think I hear chicks chirping yet the eggs have not pipped or there are no signs of eggs hatching.

Is it possible for the chicks to make sounds before they hatch?

Maybe I want this to happen so bad my mind is playing tricks on me?

Yes!!!

It's very exciting! If you chirp at them sometimes they'll chirp back! FUN!!!!!!!!

Nope, you are not going crazy! Well, not about the chirping anyway- the waiting will make you nuts though!

Chirp, whistle, sing or whatever you can. It encourages them. I use a bird call- because my voice is so low and raspy it scares them into not hatching.

I talk to my eggs everyday. I have until the 4th of Dec. The last 3 days are the hardest and the days I talk the most to them.

Crazy or not I can't help it!!!
