Heart breaking intro (be warned, life story themed)

That is one good lookin boy Glad you still have him. I have read some heart breaking posts in the emergency section so many times. I ache every time I see one.
I do really love these new girls. They each have a fresh lively and clownish personality. The Amber (Becky) reminds me constantly who she has picked lol.

I do need to give the red (Goldie) some health attn right away tho or at least make sure to understand what is going on or if it is just something due to adjusting to her new home.

thanks i'm hoping to get a cochin hen for him next Spring. i want his chicks. but even if i never got chicks from him Shadow is very special to me. he was my first and he has been with me for two good years. i think we have a special bond as well. maybe not as strong as yours with your hen but i think Shadow loves me. i'd do anything for him.
