Hi all...I saw a heartbeat in one of my eggs and now I don't see it, could it just be I have the lighting off, or could it have passed on?

I would think that you just can't see it right now. Unless it is obviously clear ~ I don't toss unless they are leaky or stinky. I don't toss clears until at least day 15.

I have gotten away from doing a lot of candling just for that reason. I have about 60 eggs in my bator right now on day 9 and I only spot candled a couple yesterday. My last hatch I was sure that a few were not developing ~ but 47 of 48 hatched!

Really bummed, I looked again and NO heart beat.....What day will I be able to see the embryo moving?

Things kind of swim and migrate around in there, if it is deeper in the fluids of the egg right now from being moved around, you won't be able to see it. Only if it is right at the surface of a light colored egg are they easy to see. Wait a few days, I bet it is fine.
