Just found my two Marans deceased.
No obvious injuries/wounds.
Maybe the heat.
They were fine two days ago.
They had plenty of water/food/shade.
Returned today and one was deceased in the coop and another underneath.
I'm crushed...

Sorry to hear that. We lost an easter egger chick last a few weeks ago due to the heat. She had plenty of food, water, and shade as well so I understand and feel your loss.

As a side-note, you might want to consider getting the dead birds examined, particularly if you have other chickens. Knowing the cause of death could save your other chickens from falling to the same fate.

So sorry for your loss! That's horribly hot though, I'm not happy at 95F!
Heat is hard on chickens, especially the big fluffy ones, and if they had any other problems.
