Heartbroken

I am new at raising chickens, I had 8 that were about 7 to 8 weeks old. I had them in a chicken tractor. I found them dead this morning. All of them except I haven't found Myrtle yet, my favorite one. I can't stop boo hooing. Just heartsick and heartbroken.

Is it normal for a fox to kill them all? Or could it have been a dog?

So sorry for your loss.I have read that dogs will kill all.Many animals will kill them all..Hope you can find your missing one.

I hate chicken tractors....

After talking to my brother and my dad, they seem to think it was a coyote. There is hair on the wire where it tore into it and it is about an inch or longer and light gray or blondish.

I guess chicken tractors don't give them much chance of escape. I feel so so bad.
