My polish hen in my flock of seven seems to be struggling with the heat. I have been giving them ice in their water several times a day and watering down their large outdoor area. There are some spots where we provided shade and they can go underneath the coop but my polish has been alienated from the flock and tonight the others tried to kill her. Her stool doesn't look normàl but I thought she may be dehydrated. I don't really have a a way to seperate her and all the other hens look ok just uncomfortable. What should I look for and how can I keep the flock from killing my chicken?

Cut her top knot off or at least tie it up/down so it is less conspicuous. Frou frou headed birds are prone to attacks by their standard coopmates. They are already stressed out because of the extreme heat, so they are just looking for an excuse to pick fights. Your Polish is funny looking, so they are going to beat her up.
Can you offer more shaded outdoor space? You said they have a large outdoor area, but sometimes they need even more space with places they can hide from the other birds. Maybe offer some hidey holes to nip into in the space? Break up the space with obstacles.

Thanks for the reply, her top knot is trimmed pretty low and these chicks have been together for 16 months and they have never shown aggression. There are obstacles but they aren't letting her peck in the grassy area or get food sometimes. I hope they will sort it out. I just don't know what else I can do.

I would add a second feed and water station to make sure she is gaining access to resources.
