so i was really worried about mama keeping the eggs warm enough....we moved her into a rabbit hutch and put some hay in for her to make a nest...but she has all the hay moved around and the eggs are just laying right on the plastic mat that was in the hutch....so i told my boyfriend i was worried that the mat was gonna stay cold and the eggs wouldnt hatch...so i put my hand underneath the hutch to feel how cold the mat was....holy crap...its freaking hot...lol...she is generating enough heat for her eggs that it is going down through the mat....lol...sooo excited...this weekend im praying they will hatch...hatch day is 11/21...but hopefully they do this weekend so i can see....yippee!!!! Trust me, momma hen will keep them warm [IMG] Everytime we let a broody hatch their eggs, they shake all the hay
and bedding out and end up hatching on the metal nest box tray! Had great hatches, to!
    Good luck!
