Have some 2 wk. old chicks and was going to put them out in a pen for the day. However it is very high humidity and temps for next couple of days. We have heat warning with the index to be 105 for the next day or 2. Do you think I should or not?

Some people might disagree, but I think 2 weeks is too young. They really can't regulate their body temp well and could possibly overheat getting stuck at 105 (or more with the sun). I'd leave them in the brooder for the next couple days.

I agree. 105 is too hot for any chick or chickens, especially the little ones.

I have a 3 mo. old pullet is in the house right now due to an inability to handle the heat. They shut down, fall into a stupor, stop eating and drinking, and can die.

They'll be far too hot. I've got a rolling brooder which I put partially in the sun with a towel for shade. If it gets to upper 90s and above they don't get put in the sun and are only in the shade with me misting them often.
