We live in Endako B.C. Canada. Our winters can dip down to -20 and -30. Average winter temp. is -15. My question is can I leave a heat lamp on all night for my 5mth old chickens. Do they need darkness to sleep? Thanks. We're also 1st time chicken owners. :)

To answer your question- No they do not need dark to sleep.

Be careful and safe using an heat lamp.
