The thermometer says 100' degrees, but the egg is rreally warm, is the egg supose to get real hot..or what im on day 22, the chick is still moving inside

Hi! I'm no expert, having hatched five or six times successfully - but if the thermometer says the right temperature and the humidity is correct, then I would just take a deep breath and step away from the incubator!!

If it is a chicken egg and you are on day 22 you should turn the heat down to 98 so it can hatch. If you meant duckling then I suggest that youturn it down to 99 if you fear that it is to hot.. Good luck!

I'm going to have to agree, when you say "HOT" do you mean hot like a hot potato? Or just very warm? My temp is at 100.2 and my eggs feel very warm but not HOT to where i can't even touch them.
