I'm using one right now, for the chicks in the brooder.
I like it, no light. It's the 150 watt heat emitter.
You still need to treat it like the light, as far as fire's go.
I have it in a reflector.

THis sounds cool.. what does it look like , price ? I like the idea of giving them nightime at nightime. I've always used a 40 watt bulb when they are in the house in the tote and a 250 watt red heat lamp when they go outside. It works.. better in the house.. cuz when they hit the garage stage I have to move the light up and down as outside temps change.
