I have cochin bantams and the last two days have been 90+ degrees and they are miserable - I moved them into the house today because I was afraid they would die from the heat. How do you combat the heat? I tried ice bottles next to them but it doesn't seem to be enough. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I put fans in my coop/run, fresh cold watermelon, electrolytes in their water, beach umbrellas up, a bowl of water to stand in, and I check on them often!

We get really hot and dry here.... I did lose a sweet girl last summer in a heat wave. I've since moved their coop too.

Edit: Oohh! and misters, you can get the single stand type misters at Lowes that connect to your garden hose.
