M son forgot to let four cx out of the night pen... Two were dead and stiff ( but bled when i cut them, so im thinking very newly stiff), the other two barely alive... I cut their throats and they bled too....
Any reason not to eat these when we know that they just died and they bled?
I cant think of any reason not to. Cant stand it going to waste....
Ayone done this?

I've eaten a hen that had just been killed by a hawk. [ i had been home from work 30 minutes before i went outside to check on them. Found the hawk still eating her. so mad at myself at not going out back right away]
Made sure she sat in icewater for a few days [ and changed it] since she hadn't been bled properly.
Tasted fine. Go for it.

Great! I have the two that were already gone cut up in a salt water brine in the fridge to leach blood. They smell good, normal... Clean. I sure cant let them go to waste! My son was devastated.... Farming is a huge learning process, even on a micro level.
