Heat ???

I am ear Phoenix, my chicks are 5-6 weeks old and we are in the process of building their coop. Currently they live in a brooder in the house, but I let them go outside for periods of time to scratch and flap and peck at stuff. They have been getting more and more time in the yard , but is it too hot? I want them to get used to the weather here but not get sick. They have shade and water and I put their brooder outside so they have it for emotional reasons. the first time out they kept wanting back in. it's 98-100 today and they have their mouths open and seem to be panting. The chicks at the library are out with mom all the time and do great but mine seem like they are hot. Any advice. Thanks

Just keep an eye on them . I have over twenty and mine pant too . It's just their way off cooling off . They'll get used to the heat .
