I’m looking at changing my winter watering container to a heated dog dish. Our temperatures can go as low as -35 at times. Are these bowls any good for these kinds of temperatures?

I've used them, but don't get -35F, fortunately! The packaging should tell you about acceptable temps for using the dish. I use the heated bases for the galvanized waterers in winter instead, for my larger flock.
Having it in the coop will help keep the temperature less chilly too.

Mine both worked down to about 10 or 15 below last winter without any issues. That’s about as cold as it got here in MA.

That's all we use outside during the winter. Cheap, easy to clean and the water doesn't freeze. I think you can pick it up for around $15. Our temperatures get below zero quite frequently during the winter. Hope this helps!

There can be real problems with using them in winter. Roosters with large wattles will have them frozen after dipping in the water. A bird standing in the dish can have frostbitten or frozen feet! And small birds can just get wet and then freeze.
Just be aware, and consider who you have, and how things might develop.

My polish would dip her head in the water to get it wet so she could see,she is ok she would also sleep on it,but my polish is vary clumsy.

Well maybe I should go with the heat plate. Does anyone know the best place to buy a heat plate? I’m in Canada. I see them on amazon but wondering if there are anymore good places to buy that.
Thanks
