Heated dog dish

I use a heated dog dish in winter in my barn for the barn cat, and a few of my birds visit it often, with no problems. Not a big crowd, ever, and none of my bantams go there.
The heated bases hold my three gallon waterers, so are much more practical for my larger flock in the coop.

My tote with horizontal nipples and stock tank deicer has stayed thawed to -22 F. I think if you figure out a way to insulate the tote it might be usable at your temperatures. I've considered putting my tote inside a larger tote and adding expanding spray foam insulation.
