Heated inside pool vs ventilation?

I got an argument with someone about having a heated inside pool for his two ducks and I wanted to see if anyone had experience with this. Most of our winter weather is about 20f but could get as cold as -25f for a few weeks. We don't really get wind in the winter. His duck house is about 4x5 with an 18 inch square opening and various cracks.

My argument
Heated pool inside will cause high humidity which is bad in cold weather

Possible other moisture issues like condensation and mold

His argument
The house is ventilated enough that it won't cause a problem.

Inside his coop? No way it would be a nightmare and your right mold and wetness would cause some health issues I am thinking.

I would say with the right ventilation it would be fine..
If his system has been thought a winter or 2 without mold hes doing something right

I guess we will find out. It's his first winter.
