Does anyone have one of these or know anything about them?
I'm thinking of getting one to use for watering small chicks.
It fills from the top.
Seems to me that it'd be easy to maintain clean, fresh water for the chicks.

Forget it. It will not work in a satisfactory manner for chicks. Look at the nipple design. It is for gnawing, licking animals.

WHAT! Your heated dog water bowl gets filthy. How on Earth does THAT happen. You must be doing something wrong.

Just kiddin'. It just infuriates me the way those chickens use the edge of the bowl for a daytime roost and crap in the water. Grrrrrr.

I'm not sure that this water bottle would solve the problem though. Seems it's advertised more for chicks; probably larger chickens would cause the water to flow out, but I'm just supposing.

It figures! I wish there was a cheap easy fix for the nasty water bowl. I'm the one who gets goat-roped into cleaning it daily, the kids won't go near it!

Sure looks like a parrot type bird rather than a chick to me. And I belive those type birds gnaw. At least the perches used for any of then I ever saw were gnawed on. Chickens seldom gnaw on their roost poles.

Hmmmm, looking closer, I'm thinking that you might be right. Okay, maybe someone with rabbits will buy one, try it out on chicks, and let us know. That ain'ta gonna happen, is it?
