Lurky's right - We found the same heated waterer at our farm bureau for 41.00$ It will have it's first winter here in our coop. So the final word on it from me will be available next spring after the thaw! We wired the coop and made a short cord to plug into the new GFI plug. The top of the waterer is floppy- I dont really like it-
I am thinking that if I drill a 2 inch hole in the top I can refill it without having to disconnect the bottom from the top. (avoiding water all over and possibly a wet plug to reinsert)
