Heating device suggestions please

I’m getting another batch of chicks in about a week. What are some good heating plate brands/ models that you guys use ? I made the mistake on my first batch with the heat lamp like many first time chick owners. I think they got too hot and one got shriveled and dehydrated and almost didn’t make it. She’s ok now and is growing feathers

yikes, yeah heatlamps are way powerful .. for a smaller setup in a box etc a 60w incandecent 'buglight' is about perfect and still pretty easy to find, just get it 8-10" off the floor ...
