I heard that some have incubated and hatched an egg using a heating pad.
Will this work on a Quail egg?

The problem is trying to keep the temperature constant. Someone on here has incubated an egg with an electric pan. I wouldn't recommend it, however, if you want to do it as an experiment, by all means go for it

Good luck

I thought it was crazy enough when we retrieved a chick from a cold egg left behind by the hen and I put him in my armpit for nine hours! He turned out to be just fine, but thought I was his mom! He became a big mean rooster, and flogged everyone but me!

He was out of the egg though.

An egg in her bra?

Pretty amazing!

i use a heating pad instead of a heat lamp in my brooder... not sure it would be hot enough to incubate?? well it's hotter than body temp because we feel it.. might work... i would try it on some barnyards or your own eggs before you spend a lot of money on specific breeds.....
