This has been my first winter with chickens in Northeast Ohio...I live in the snow belt and we get hammered with snow and wind...My 4 Lt.Brahmas did great this winter without any heat...They have a nice covered run that we wrapped in clear plastic this fall...Mine have been out all winter except for extremely windy days....I would however hang a heat lamp if they were young chicks...
