Heating Your CooP Idea

Hello Everyone,

This is probably a great and economical way to
heat your coop and keeping your chickens warm.

I do not have access to electricity to my coop to
keep the coop warm and keeping the waterers
from freezing, so I'm going to try this.

I know I'm probably not the only one, so I would like
to share this idea that I found on the internet.

That is awsomely cool if it actually works. Please, if anyone tries this, give us updates over the winter!!

This was posted a while back and if you search you will find some great ideas on making it work better.
 
Looks like a great idea. I kinda think in the dead of winter that it may not increase the temp enough to do much help. But then again I've been told by alot of people that I always think of the negitive things alot.
 
I just watched Extreme Home Makeover or whatever that show is called with Ty Pennington.

They went to Nevada or somewhere and the family didn't have heat, so the son (maybe 14-15 yrs old) had built a large scale model like that one to heat portions of their house. So obviously it works...
