HEATING

The mother board in our HVAC unit burned out. This means we only have emergency heat. Well they didn't put in enough coils? for it to run emergency heat safely. We have a warm room, we are using the living room. I have a space heater in here and a space heater for the animals in the sunroom. Our furnace has to be replaced and we just don't have 8,000. Laying around. Does anyone have any ideas?

We've been heating w wood exclusively for 3 yrs. You can get a certified wood stove for a reasonable price, install it yourself. If you don't have your own firewood source, it's probably cheap in KY.

Make sure the heater you get is an Oil filled type one. The other ones that have the Red glow bar are the 1st ones that cause house Fires !
Be safe is #1.

If you have a fireplace make sure the chimney is Cleaned, and watch the smoke.
At least you are in a "warmer" climate then up here, maybe not this week

Got a system from Africa coming hope it's as smoke free as it claims to be. Also ordered solar panels from same company. Biolite
