Hello
My Americauna is a cross beak and was put with the other chickens until it became a problem. Our Bantam rooster got on her , idk if violently or just to mate, but she didn’t like it. She seemed distressed (panting hard / not moving ) so we separated her. She would let out high pitch chirps sporadically. Since she has been eating and drinking. Btw we soften her food in a deep dish to help her pick up the food. It has been 3 days and this morning she was panting / chirping again.
