hedge all around the coop, will the leaves be ok for them?

The hedge ( which is massive) is a lilac hedge, flowers are going to bloom soon, is this ok for them to eat? not sure how to block them from the hedge as its all around there coop and run.

i have one next to my run with some branches growing into the run and i have not had any problems at all yet but i have only had my girls since the end of february

Well my girls love the young shoots lol, they were jumping to get to them lol, so yes they like my lilac,s
