I recently posted I was getting a hedgehog!!!

. So excited- my parents think we have way to many pets and we only have a dog and some chickens. Finally my uncle convinced them!!!

. So my question is, -what does a algerian grey pinto look like??? I'm getting it from a breeder at six weeks, on January 3rd.
Also, again, does anybody have any experiances with hedgehogs or tips for a complete newbie?
Thanks!

Enjoy your new hedgie! It's neat to see how much they are being bred for color and tameness these days. I relaly wish the long-eared hedgehogs were on the pet market, as I would totally get one:

Well, if you need info, you can check out my short page located here. Or if you have specific questions, pm or email me.

Algerian grey pintos will look something like this, though since he's pinto his white markings will be unique. Even though the quill color may be dark their faces are lighter than the dark greys and may even almost disappear as he gets older. Your baby will be darker than the real adult color; this is because he hasn't gone through his adult quilling. That won't happen until around 10 weeks of age. This picture is from BeachBum Hedgehogs.
