Yay all 5 have internally pipped! Into lock down we go! Exciting stuff!

Hey all, me again, on day 28 of hatching and no external pips. When I checked 2 days ago it looked like they had or were trying to internally pip. any advice/help. I'm a first timer and I'm abit panicked!

Yeh I read it a couple of days ago, very informative. I think maybe I just have lazy ducks! I had a quick candle earlier and they are all moving, phew, but haven't internally pipped yet. 4 of the 5 have big slanty air sacs, the other looks 'normal' but duck is still moving a bit.

I wish I could be more help . . . I have read that it can take a long time for that last push out of the egg.

Give a little time. Some ducks just take a bit longer than others. Try candling tonight and see if they are all viable and then just wait a bit. I've had some that took 35 days to hatch.
