(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I've owned chickens before when I was younger, but my family decided to get another batch after a really long time.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
9 chickens, and 3 turkeys.
(3) What breeds do you have?
4 Barred Rock Plymouths, and 5 Rhode Island Reds. The turkeys are Standard Bronze, I believe.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I like birds, and I've been considering lately maybe going into a veterinary career specializing in avian care. I like caring for the baby Barred Rock Plymouths that we have. Seeing them thrive is the best part of it all.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Art, music, et cetera.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have 3 dogs and 3 cats.

I wanted to get information about a few things I am curious about, and this place was the first thing that really came up when I was doing extensive research on my family's behalf so we could all better care for our birds.
