I have a mini farm and doing my best to become sustainable on about 1/5 of an acre. The desert sun provides some growing challenged and have compensated some by allowing a number of trees to grow very large over the years.

I currently have ducks who have grown up together and are very bonded and lots of fun.

I am vegetarian so consume the eggs to satisfy protein needs. I share eggs with friends.

Sustainable is a work in progress ... the summer sun is often well over 100 and very brutal ... much different in intensity from 20 years ago.
