We first inherited chicks during summer 2020, then got two more. Helped a friend hatch eggs, and that has snowballed into more chickens. 
Chicken math!!
Right now we have 6 adult hens. A Salmon Favorelle, a Black Sexlink, a California White, a Barred Rock, a Bantam Porcelain D’Uccle, and a Bantam Silver Araucana.
We also have 9 chicks from an English Mottled Orpington we had. Some beautiful mixed babies!
They are wonderful and goofy to watch. I enjoy sitting with them and giving them treats. I think my most favorite thing is the eggs.
I also enjoy sewing and crafting when I have time. Making new recipes to try with the family.
Usually kept busy with my hubby, 2 kids, senior dog and cat on top of the chickens. I am always searching for efficient tools/ways to do things as well as keeping things holistic as possible.
I found BYC via questions I had on our first group of chickens. This was an immense help! I can only hope that I can bless someone else with information that will help as much as this page and posts have helped me. Thank you!!
