(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

I am not new to birds in the slightest but I am new to chickens! I first got chickens around 6 months ago

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have 6 :)

(3) What breeds do you have?
I have currently just brown shaver but I do have 2 silkie eggs in the incubator

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Learning about how smart they can be! I trained my house hen Karen how to spin in a circle!

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I enjoy gaming and working with my chicks in my spare time :)

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

I work on a free range chicken farm! I grade and collect eggs for a living, feel free to ask me any questions you may have about how free range farming works!

Hello! Welcome to BYC and to being a new chicken caretaker! My wife was an egg inspector at a local poultry farm when we met.

Hiya, and welcome to BYC! :frow

I'm wondering about the two little silkies eventually living with your other chicken. They are much smaller. If both hatch, two to one might work.

Wishing you a great hatch!
