Hi from Ireland, I've been lurking for about a year ( October 10th is when I first got my girls) and I've finally made an account. Not sure how much I'll post since I usually just lurk but I do love talking about my girls.
I have four chickens, two legbars Goldie (who I think might be part Orpington) is a biter who likes just sit in the coop taking her time while she lays, Bobbie who is gray and jumps at the slightest movement, she sometimes even startles herself and two Cuckoo Marans Wendy the head hen with a larger comb and yellower eyes is the calmest of the bunch and loves to preen on my lap and Pepsi with the smaller comb and orange eyes was initially very shy, withdrawn, timid and quiet until she became broody, after going broody three times she's become much braver and outgoing although she's still somewhat of an introvert.
